1 Pair Size 8-1/2 Vintage NOS 1940s FF 30-Denier Nylon Stockings Dark Brown

You are bidding on 1 pair of 1940s full-fashioned dark brown nylon stockings -- Size 8-1/2.  They are about 28" long.  These flat-knit stockings have back seams and Cuban heels; they have a keyhole loop in the welt.  These stockings are made of 30-denier DuPont nylon.  They are still in their original factory package that is very brittle and falling apart due to age, but the stockings are still in great condition!  These are authentic 1940s stockings, not new reproductions.  Made in the U.S.A.

These stockings came from the estate sale of the manager of a local stocking factory that closed about 1950.  The package shows evidence of being stored in an old garage since the early 1950s.  They may have a musty odor due to age and storage in the old garage prior to being sold at the estate sale where I found them over 25 years ago.  Gentle laundering with mild soap will help eliminate any musty aroma.  Other than that, they are in excellent unworn condition and have been stored in a dry and smoke-free environment since finding them.
PLEASE NOTE: Even though these stockings are new and unworn, I cannot guarantee that they may not have a few tiny pricks due to their delicate nature.  Any noticed defects will be mentioned in the description and shown in pictures.
