This sale is for one set of two Republic of (South) Vietnam coins in 1 and 10 Dong denomination that were brought back by a US Air Force Veteran of Operation Ranch Hand- call sign "Hades," (a C-123 crewman) having served in the early years of the Vietnam Conflict (1965-1966). Both coins are dated 1964, and feature the rice plant on the obverse, and the denomination with "Viet-Nam Cong-Hoa," on the reverse.
