1970 How to Rebuild Your Suzuki X6 Hustler - 4-Page Vintage Motorcycle Article
    23-step vintage article with photos
Some years ago Suzuki produced the X-6..(or Super-Six as it is billed in England)...it not only had fantastic acceleration through the six gears but was pleasing to the eye. As could be expected any rider...would eventually find himself with delusions of Grand Prix racing grandeur...and invariably our new rider would not turn out to be another Mike Hailwood...he soon found himself in need of transmission work as his club-footedness would wreak havoc on the crunch box...Here is where the beauty of the engine design of this machine comes to be appreciated. ..Suzuki split the cases horizontally...the engine can be dismantled with a minimum of special tools or pullers...when the top case is removed...not only do the gears and shafts remain in position but they can be operated manually to check for possible flaws or problems...
