1981 Dick Tracy Magnetic Space Animated Musical LCD Quartz Watch Chester Gould.
Item is a digital watch described on the outside of the packagingwhich is designed to resemble a space ship as “Dick Tracy Magnetic SpaceAnimated Musical LCD Quartz Watch”.
Itemhas never been out of the original packaging.
Based on that I doubt that the 40 year old battery is stillworking.
I cannot guarantee that this isa working watch.
Being offered as a itemof Dick Tracy memorabilia.
Packagingmeasures approximately 6” high and 5.5” in diameter.
Original packaging had a very tiny black discattached to the very top.
It is nolonger attached to the item; but, is included in the offering.
Someone with more dexterity than I couldpossibly repair the item.
Item does havetwo pieces if tape which is holding the top on.
I am assuming that the top is just inserted onto the acetatecylinder.
On the top possibly screwson.
I cannot make a determination as towhether it is inserted or screwed. Watch itself has an image od Dick Tracy withhis arm outstretched wearing a similar watch to the one in the cylinder.
Submission of a bid or purchase of the itemis an acknowledgment that the item does not have the small disc attached.
It is also an acknowledgement of the twopieces of tape, as originally purchased, are on the item.
