You are bidding on 3 pairs of 1940s NOS full-fashioned Lady Carroll Tantone 30-denier nylon stockings -- Size 9-1/2.  They are about 29" long (see picture).  These flat-knit stockings have back seams and Cuban heels and a keyhole loop in the welt.  First-quality stockings made of 30-denier DuPont nylon.  They are still in their original factory box.  These are authentic 1940s stockings, not new reproductions.  Made in the U.S.A.

These stockings came from the estate sale of the manager of a local stocking factory that closed about 1950.  The box and tissue paper show some evidence of being stored in an old garage since the early 1950s, and they may have a musty/stored odor due to age and storage in that old garage prior to being sold at the estate sale where I found them over 25 years ago.  Gentle laundering with mild soap will help eliminate any musty aroma.  Other than that, they are in excellent unworn condition and have been stored in a dry and smoke-free environment since finding them.
PLEASE NOTE: Even though these stockings are new and unworn, I cannot guarantee that they may not have a few tiny pricks due to their delicate nature.  Any noticed defects will be mentioned in the description and shown in pictures.
