Description
Brooks Instruments 1355-07C1AAB Flow Meters (2). Condition is "Used".This is for the pair of flow meters shown in pictures. (Send me a message if you're interested in only one, see note below)
One has an aluminum back plate with the product information sticker on it, the other doesn't. (see photos) The one that does not have the back plate also does not have the 4 screws that would hold said missing back plate on and also hold the blue aluminum cover in place.
The ball floats appear to be different material from one another. The one with the aluminum back plate has a float that is "black" in color while the other one has a float that is shinny metal color. According to "brooksinstrument.com", there are different materials available for the floats, which are; black glass, 316 stainless, sapphire, Carboloy, tantalum. I would suspect the metal colored one to be stainless, but I'd rather not guess what the black one is. With that said, the one without the back plate and product info. sticker may not be the exact same model number (TYPE) as the one with the info. sticker since the floats appear to be different.
They appear to be in good condition, with minimal use wear. They look fine to me. I connected each of them to air pressure and moved the control knobs in and out and they both seem to work as they should. The float raises and lowers as I open and close the valve. In the closed position, no air travels through the meter, and as I open the valve, air starts traveling through and increases as the valve is opened further and further.
I acquired these as they appear in the photos along with some other items from an auction. I have not used them nor do I have a use for them. So, rather than throw them away, I thought maybe someone could make use of them once again.
NOTE: If you do not want both of them, please send me a message that you're only interested in one of them and I'll gladly sell you the one of your choice for half the price and then I will relist the remaining one.
