Clock Mainspring Replacement Service.
In this listing you are agreeing to send me your barrel complete for a mainspring replacement service. This service does not include barrel repair. I simply remove the barrel cap and arbor along with mainspring then clean the barrel, arbor and cap in an ultrasonic tank with a waterless clock cleaning solution. Once it has been cleaned, I reinstall it all back with the new spring. You could supply it or I can. Please ask questions before purchasing this service. If I have to supply the mainspring for you, it will be the direct replacement or closest match to it. I may have to shorten the hook end if needed to custom fit the barrel. If it is missing the mainspring, please identify your clock movement and I will do my best to order the best match or direct replacement. Hermle barrels will have a number on the cap and sometimes it will be better to replace with brand new barrel complete since the old one would be worn out. If you need a barrel bottom end repaired, I can also have it done for you but the price will be additional. I can also replace catgut for fusee. Ask for quote.
