Approximate Weight: 12gm
Grade: GEM

We inherited a collection of shells over a decade ago and many did not contain identification.  We have researched the internet and Bixby to assist but for many we were not successful.   We have tried to identify the Genus but for many could not identify the Species.  They may be variants.
If we have mis-categorized the listing or grossly over priced, we would appreciate if you would share your expertise so that we can correct the listing.
We are not professional shell collectors and make our best ‘guestimates’ on condition using the following general observations.  We have not made any efforts to polish the shell.

Shells are graded as follows:
GEM: Shells without blemish or flaws, shells that are adult and of average size.
F+++: Shells with minor blemish or flaw that in no way detracts from the beauty of the specimen.
F++: Shells with noticeable blemishes which do not detract from the beauty of the specimen, shells are adult and average size.
F+: Shells with growth lines and nacre blemishes. These shells display well and represent good value for the species.
FINE: Shells with chip.
