I purchased this for a Christmas present I was working on but it arrived too late (Thank you Post Office!).  Note that this has the 7/8" shaft length so it is for clock faces (dials) up to 1/2" thick.  It comes with 2 sets of hands.  Both sets have a second hand but the shorter hands have a red second hand.  You will get what you see. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS.  These are pretty simple to put together but if you are concerned about your ability to do so, please don't buy it!  THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS.

These new movements have a second hand that moves in a smooth continuous motion, rather than the stepping motion of most quartz movements. This change not only affects the appearance of the clocks you make, but continuous sweep movements also have the added benefit of being more quiet. You will not hear the “clicking” sound every second.
