Bogie’s 1945 noir CONFLICT is a somewhat conflicted film. It’s really a solid thriller, but not into THE BIG SLEEP or DEAD RECKONING territory during this point in his career. He plays a man who has murdered his wife and then engages in something of a cat-and-mouse game with his friend, a psychiatrist played by Sydney Greenstreet. Alexis Smith is on hand as Bogie’s dead wife’s sister who he has fallen for.
This pressbook measures 11x17 and consists of 16 pages and is overall in very good condition. It is uncut and complete with a center cross fold. Some of the pages are detached and there is tape along the spine. It comes with a 10-page ad supplement, which also has loose or detached pages, but again is complete and uncut, but no tape. A great item for the Bogie or noir fan.
