You are looking at very gently handled large 14" long
CHARONIA TRITONIS - PACIFIC TRITON'S TRUMPET SEASHELL
This huge sea snail shell is in excellent condition and has beautiful markings.  There is smaller area at the large end with the outer finish having been chipped off--likely found this way, as the edges aren't sharp. Otherwise excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage.  Sourced from Tonga originally.
This is just one shell of a large collection of seashells my late father had that we are now selling on behalf of my mother, and will be gradually adding more over the coming weeks.
