By diving in the sandy areas of the outer coral reef at a depth of 15 to 25 m in 2008.

This species is the largest and heaviest of the Cassidae family. It is also collected in Japan, but it is usually about 25 cm, and specimens that are much larger than 30 cm like this individual are rarely collected. This individual also has very grown lips and is very, very heavy.  There is polishing in one place.  Great giant size!
