Popular Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch ref 145.022-71 circa 1971. Featuring 42mm diameter case with black 500 mph tachometer bezel and Omega logo acrylic crystal. Very nice condition original matte black stepped dial with very pleasing tritium indexes and hands. Caseback features deeply engraved Speedmaster logo and “Flight Qualified by NASA for All Manned Space Missions, The First Watch Worn on the Moon.”
The addition of the Speedmaster logo on the caseback is the only differentiating factor between the 1971 and 1969 versions of 145.022. It is still powered, like the 1969, by calibre 861.
This has a rubber band which was obviously not the original, but the watch itself is in pristine condition.
