    Fascinating pressbook for the British produced 1941 documentary on the BATTLE OF LONDON. Produced by H.E. Mendelssohn (with assistance of H.M. War Office and The Air Ministry), WWII-era film is part documentary/part propaganda movie. Original four page 10x13 pressbook prepared for U.S. Exhibitors by the American Film Co of Philadelphia, plays up the “it can happen here” angle with such suggested “CATCHLINES” as “Can Hitler Invade New York? “An Alarm Clock to wake up Americans who think the ocean is their protector”. Pressbook features great poster like cover illustration with bold red V FOR VICTORY over Big Ben and London devastation. Interior pages have synopsis, photos and prepared articles for newspaper insertion. Back cover showcases advertising material.
