Description

Nice Fossilized Blue sand toned Florida “Hystrivasum Schrinerae”. Vase Shell.
Looks like these are only found in the central Florida area and nowhere else in the world!
Fossil is well preserved and measures about 2.75” by 2”.
For identification I referred to the Neogene Atlas of Ancient Life and contacted the University of Florida Museum of Natural History’s Invertebrate Paleontology Collections Department and they identified as a Pleistocene era fossil from the Pinecrest Beds of the Tamiami Formation.
Each shell will be wrapped individually and shipped with care.
