SAILOR VALENTINE PENDANT

Description

This Sailor Valentine pendant was hand crafted in a 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 black walnut box. The depth is 1/2 inch.
The center features two white cup shell roses with sea urchin spine centers. The flowers have gar scale leaves. Lace coral accent the flowers. The background is abalone shell. A rim of miniature freshwater pearls edge the valentine. Eight miniature operculum flowers with pearl centers highlight the eight corners of the box.
The back of the box has a Fluer De Lis bale in an antique bronze finish.
These pendants look great with a chain or leather cord.
I am a juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. My Sailors Valentines have won several awards at the Sanibel Shell Show, Sanibel Island Florida.
