    Description

I do not ship internationally. However, I do provide free shipping to a valid secondary (relative/intermediary) address that is within the United States.
Dredged in 80 feet of water off Mactan and Cebu Islands, Philippines
84 mm from shell to shell attachments. Shell 64 mm
Xenophorids are unusual in that in many of the species the animal cements small stones or shells to the edge
as it grows, thus the shells of those species are sometimes humorously referred to as "shell-collecting shells". The genus name
comes from two ancient Greek words and means "bearing (or carrying) foreigners".
I do not grade shells, but I believe this is as near to gem as possible. The flash makes it difficult, but the photos speak for themselves.
I always hand selected from what was available at the time.
    Species:
    X. pallidula
    Xenophora pallidula
    Phorus pallidulus
Sorry, but due to the fragility of shells and coral and the difficulty in packing, this must be sold as is. Please view photos carefully.

At one time I owned a Specimen Shell Store.
All items I sold were specimen quality and hand selected.
These items are from my personal inventory.
If you are a specimen collector, please check back frequently. I will continually be adding other specimen shells.
I have an extremely large inventory. So if there is another family or species of shell that you are looking for, let me know. I am trying to list different families other than murex, cypraea and conus.
If you are looking for anything in particular, contact me. Perhaps I have what you are searching for.
    Thank you for viewing.
