For sale- a Spire Metering Technology MAG888-DC Battery Powered Magnetic Water Meter.
Let me back that up a bit.
First, I don’t see Spire Metering Technology on it anywhere but there is their logo and the model number brings up the company’s website
here
, which offers more info and specs (actually I did find it on the plate attached to the body of the flowmeter, I just couldn’t see it until I enlarged the picture).
Second, if it is battery powered then I have to assume the battery is dead, as the display is blank as you can see in the pictures.
I would assume you remove the cover to replace the battery; without knowing what sort of battery it takes I will leave that task to you.
Even if I powered it up I would have no way to test it.
Untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed.
Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs.
Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.
As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.

When I measured the pipe as pictured I assumed it was a 2” unit, but the model/serial number plate shows 50mm.
Not sure if that can be interfaced with 2” plumbing or not.
The same plate also says the model number is MAG888-DC-DN50, presumably with the suffix denoting the 50mm plumbing.

Unless/Until they can fix it the only thing I can do is to plug my zip, your zip, the weight and dimensions in at fedex.com to arrive at a shipping cost for your particular shipment.
So if ebay isn’t providing a shipping cost automatically, you can always go to fedex.com and estimate it yourself.
