  • Condition: This is my one-only, custom 2-piece pant ensemble from decades ago. I wore it twice. It is in really good condition. I had it dry-cleaned but It has a slight perfume odor to it and some slight staining on lower front. Pant elastic may need to be replaced. But sensuous silk fabric.

    Description

    Overstock costumes, fabric and trim from Satin Stitches
    This Vintage, couture, one-of-a-kind pant ensemble is shown on our sample sized dress form (36" bust and 27" waist) but this outfit is MUCH larger. The flat-bust
    measurement
    of the shirt is about 52" and about the same at the hip area. This was a 'big-shirt' style, meant to fit very loosely. If you measure the sleeves like a men's shirt, they are about 34" long. (My body shape is pretty straight-up-and-down, with long arms. I am about 5'6" tall.) The pull-on pant has a waist of about 38", but stretches larger. The loose hip measurement of the pant is about 50" and the out-seam is about 42".
    I personally designed, cut and sewed this ensemble for myself for a fancy dancing event
    . I wore it twice and kept it preserved, out of the sun. This outfit was created in the late 1980's. The outfit is made out of woven, 100% pastel pink silk charmeuse. It is beautifully tailored (by myself) and includes shoulder pads and crystal Austrian rhinestoned appliques on the big shoulders. The buttons match perfectly.
    To re-create this custom ensemble today, the price range would be perhaps 00.
    Please note that our 'samples' are just that - and could have some dust on the hems or a stray snag or blemish caused by when our clients try on the sample to see if they wish any changes. When we list them for our e-Bay store, we are using photos from within a short time of doing the listing. We TRY to note any 'issues' with any snags or marks or dust etc., but we may miss these 'blemishes'. The pricing is obviously MUCH below retail, and are a real bargain - so we hope you forgive us, that they may not be in absolute pristine condition.  They have NOT been worn for performances - only tried on.
    Be aware that colors may look different on different computer monitors. We always try to describe the colors, besides providing a picture. If you need an exact color, eBay is probably not your best option! It is great for bargains, however!
